Jonathan du Toit
CA(SA),CFA
Jonathan began his career at Orbis and Allan Gray. He then joined Truffle Asset Management where he successfully managed the Truffle High Growth hedge fund, delivering annualised performance of 23% for over 8 years. He was integral in building the Truffle business into a R20 billion asset manager, and the hedge fund to R1.9 billion.
Mark du Toit
CA(SA),CFA
Mark previously worked at Courtney Capital where he launched the Prime Multi-Strat QI Hedge Fund. In 2018 the fund won the “New Fund of the Year” with a return of 33.68% and a Sharpe ratio of 1.21. Mark has also worked at Standard Bank, as the Head of Bancassurance Africa and at African Bank as Head of Finance for distribution channels.
Robert Tout
CFA, B.Com Hons
Rob holds a B.Com Honours in Investment Management as well as a CFA. He previously worked as an analyst at All Weather, in the team managing the long/short All Weather Capital Hedge Fund, which delivered an annualised performance c. 2% higher than the All Share Index.
Wessel Joubert

Wessel previously worked at Rezco Asset Management and Cannon Asset Management. Wessel holds a CFA and a B.Com Honours in Investment Management
Nadia AuCamp
B.Com Hons
Nadia completed her Honours in Investment Management at the University of Johannesburg. She previously worked for Risk Cafe where she was responsible for the administration of hedge funds and unit trusts. Prior to joining OysterCatcher, she worked at Silica in fund administration and client queries.
Peter du Toit
B.Com Econ, AEP hons
Peter has spent a lifetime in active investment management. He held the title of Executive Director of Investments at both Senbank (now ABSA) and Momentum Life. He left RMB/Momentum in 2001 to establish various business interests including Rezco Value Trend. He was one of the founder members of the Investment Analysts Society of Southern Africa.
